Production and Warehousing: Approximately 100,000 square feet of
office, production and warehouse space.
All production areas are air conditioned and fully dust collected.
EQUIPMENT
Blending: Isolated blending rooms with sanitary stainless steel
blenders. Associated food contact equipment is of sanitary stainless
constructions. Blenders are mounted on scales for constant weight verification
as part of our Quality Assurance SOP.
Packaging: All packaging equipment
is of
modern sanitary design.
Cans:
We are currently tooled for sizes ranging from 202 through 603 diameter
steel and composite cans. We can retool for other diameters as necessary.
Jars: We can fill a variety of shapes, sizes,
materials and closure styles. Let us know your needs.
Portion Packaging: Bartelt style form/fill/seal
machines for pouches ranging from 2"x2" to 8"x8.5".
MATERIAL
HANDLING
Incoming materials are received and stored in
a manner which allows control by lot and facilitates first in/first
out use. Finished blends are stored in stainless steel bins awaiting
Q.A. approval prior to packaging. All shipments of finished goods are
controlled by lot, and quantities shipped are reconciled against production.
QUALITY
Compliance with GMP's and SOP's to precisely control and monitor
all aspects of operation and production.
Control of incoming materials and finished goods by lot to assure compliance
with required specifications prior to release.
Inspection and testing of critical parameters throughout the manufacturing
process.
Full traceability from raw materials received through finished goods
shipped.
Coordination and monitoring of ingredient and finished product testing
by independent outside laboratories for labeling compliance and safety.
